FAQ > Settings > Can I modify the default limits for blood pressure classification?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

Yes. By default the limits are set based on the classification of blood pressure for adults based on The Seventh Report of the Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure (JNC7; NIH Publication No. 04-5230, Aug 2004). You can modify these limits but before doing so consult with your doctor.
